Hot, Not, Next

This Week we finished talking about the encounter that Jesus had with the Samaritan woman at the well. There is so much in these verses that we could spend weeks discussing, but if nothing else, I hope we all learned that we should never judge a person before we really know them. Christ set the example by striking up a conversation with the goal of discussing spiritual matters with the woman. This should be our goal at all times.
In the book "The Shack" I was fascinated with the way Christ and God both called each person "very special". They must really feel that way about each one of us because God said that we are "fearfully and wonderfully made" and that is each one of His creation. When I consider that statement, I realize that every person I meet fits that description, therefore I am interacting with one of Gods special children. Now that should make me a little more cautious about being negative about anyone, instead I must be looking for a way to introduce them to the Good News.

I hope by now you have had the chance to do the Sharing assessment on page 72. If not take a few minutes to do it. This will give you an idea of where you are doing well and where you need help.
Take a minute to answer the three questions on page 28:

• Whats Hot
• Whats Not
• Whats Next

After you have defined where you need to grow, set a 30 day goal and write it down!
Goals are great and when it involves spiritual matters that is even better.
